1. General information
One of the main goals of this subject , taught in French, is for students to improve their oral and written communicative competence in this language, enhancing the skills of interaction, comprehension and oral production and written. Between levels A2 and B1 of the MECRL, the teaching-learning process of this language will also be addressed at the stage of Early Childhood Education, taking into account the institutional impulse towards bilingual programs in the schools of Aragon.
Its approaches and goals are aligned with some of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda of United Nations, (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), contributing to some extent to the achievement of objjective 4.7 of Goal 4, objective 5.1 of Goal 5 and objective 11.4 of Goal 11.
2. Learning results
In order to pass this subject, the students shall demonstrate they has acquired the following results:
- To apply the phonetic and grammatical rules of the French language to oral and written discourse.
- Analyzes errors in oral and written speech and acts on them.
-To show fluency, correctness and confidence in oral expression in French.
- Expresses him/herself in writing with coherent discourse and clear language on everyday and current topics.
- Read, understand and handle different types of texts in French, including ICT and audiovisual media, valuing them as sources of information necessary for professional activity.
- Solve communicative situations, simulations and practical cases in French that involve the understanding of the fundamental concepts of the subject and their correct application in the classroom.
3. Syllabus
Phonetic, communicative and linguistic content:
- Reinforcement of French phonétique.
- Expressing certainties and skills. Articulating an argument. Connecteurs.
- Talking about the future. Make projects, forecasts, hypotheses.
- Raconter un événement. Understand an informative article. Express the cause and the consequence.
- Telephonic conversation. Write a message. Negotiate and discuss. The reported speech and the concordance of time.
Methodological contents:
- Les documents officiels sur l'enseignement des langues à l'école. Les programmes d'éducation bilingue espagnol-français.
- Le processus d'enseignement-apprentissage du FLE aux enfants.
- Creation and adaptation of activities for the nursery school.
4. Academic activities
The program offered to students to help them achieve the expected results includes the following training activities:
- Explanation of concepts, presentation and exemplification of tasks.
- Performance of individual / group tasks.
- Participation in simulation activities.
- Search for materials and resources.
- Preparation of evaluable tests.
- Student presentations.
5. Assessment system
It will be evaluated, in all the calls of the subject, by means of a global test that will include several instruments of evaluation. It will be held on dates to be communicated through the usual means.
1. Final individual written test of theoretical-practical nature (80%).
It will consist of the following activities:
- Written activities (4 points):
Of communicative situations, grammar and vocabulary (1.5 points).
Written expression and interaction (1.5 points).
Reading comprehension (1 point).
- Oral activities (4 points):
Oral expression and interaction (2.5 points).
Listening comprehension (1.5 points).
In order to pass the final individual test, a minimum of 2 points must be obtained in the written activities and 2 points in the oral activities in order to obtain an average.
2. Completion of a work in French language related to the contents of the subject (20%). The specifications of itself and the delivery date will be communicated at the beginning of the year.
Oral (50%) and written (50%) competencies will be evaluated according to these criteria:
- The level of preparation of the tasks.
- The use of vocabulary and register relevant to the communication situation.
- Comprehension of different types of written documents and oral situations.
- Syntactic and morphological correctness.
- Fluency, correctness and pronunciation.
Students in the 5th and 6th call will be evaluated with the same system as the rest of the students, but their evaluation will be carried out by a board of examiners.
Finally, it must be taken into account that the Regulations of the Rules of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will apply to irregularities committed in the evaluation tests through academic fraud, as well as the application of article 30 of the Regulations of the Rules of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud.
